We meet in an open-air pavilion that sits at the top of a hill overlooking the ocean. One visitor commented that he preferred our stained glass windows to the ones back home! But it's not merely our unique setting that makes us a "church without walls." There are three other distinctives that help make us who we are as a church family:
- Our focus is on people more than organization. We are committed to being a community of genuine followers of Jesus Christ, who love God, grow spiritually, and help others.
- We don't stop being the church when we leave on Sunday morning. Our desire is to reflect Christ's love and his truth throughout our community all through the week.
- We aren't tied to denominational traditions or beliefs. God's written Word is our authority and guide as we worship in spirit and truth. We hold uncompromisingly to the historic Christian faith, but also respect the freedom of believers to hold differing viewpoints on many issues:
In essentials—unity
In nonessentials—liberty
In all things—love
